Bavarian Beef Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless beef bottom round roast (3 lbs.)
  • 1 garlic clove, cut into thin slivers
  • 1 tsp. canola oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. dried mint
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel

Directions

  1. In a large nonstick skillet, coo green onions, onions, rice and parsley in butter for about 3 ,minutes or until coated evenly with butter.

  2. Stir in the salt, dill, mint and pepper. Stir in the water, lemon juice and lemon peel. Bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 16 to 18 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork.
