Bavarian Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beef gravy
  • 2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 6 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook beef, onion and green pepper in margarine until tender. Drain.

  2. Stir in gravy and cabbage. Cook over medium heat 15 minutes.

  3. Spoon about 1/2 cup mixture on bottom half of each bun; top with cheese. Top with other half of bun.
