Ingredients

  • 1 package TJ’s Pizza Dough
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons TJ’s Ghee, melted
  • 1/4 Jumbo Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 package TJ’s Premium Choice Angus Beef Sirloin Steak Tips (about 1/2 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon TJ’s All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup TJ’s Korean Style BBQ Sauce, divided
  • 1/2 cup TJ’s Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 TJ's Eggs
  • TJ’s Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Fresh Cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Remove pizza dough from refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven and preheat to 475°F.

  2. Add ½ tablespoon ghee to a large skillet and heat over medium. Add sliced red onion to skillet and sauté for 5 minutes or until translucent. Season steak tips with salt and pepper and add to skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes. Remove steak and onions from the pan and slice steak into bite-size pieces. Set pan aside (leave drippings in pan to fry eggs later!).

  3. Sprinkle flour on a clean cutting board and divide pizza dough in two pieces . Starting in the center of the dough, roll out toward edges with a rolling pin (while not rolling over them). Repeat with second ball of dough. Transfer both pizzas to a piece of parchment paper or a floured baking peel. Spread ¼ cup Korean Style BBQ Sauce in the center of each pizza. Top each pizza with ¼ cup shredded Mozzarella and ½ of the sautéed steak & onion mixture. Brush the crusts with remaining melted ghee.

  4. Slide pizzas onto preheated pizza stone or baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until crust is golden and sauce is bubbling. Remove pizzas from oven and set aside. Heat the skillet with leftover drippings over medium. Crack eggs into heated skillet and fry to desired level of doneness (about 4 minutes for a slightly runny yolk) Top each pizza with a fried egg, garnish with cilantro and black pepper if desired and serve immediately.
