Hot Mushroom Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream, divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • assorted crackers or bread, for serving

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, saute mushrooms and onions in margarine until tender. Stir in flour and paprika; add milk and 1/2 cup sour cream. Cook over low heat until mushrooms are tender. Stir in remaining sour cream and seasonings. Serve hot with crackers.
