Lemon Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup chives, chopped

Directions

  1. Combine rice, water, butter and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and stir; cover and cook until tender, about 17 minutes. Let sit, covered, 5 minutes, then stir in the lemon zest and juice and chives; season with salt.
