Beans and Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 5-oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dillweed
  • 2 10 oz. pkgs. frozen French-style green beans, cooked according to package directions and drained

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over moderate heat (about 250 degrees). Add water chestnuts and cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Stir in dill and then stir water chestnut mixture into green beans. Heat to sering temperature.
