Bishop’s Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cubes butter (1 cup)
  • 2 c sugar
  • 5 whole eggs 1 Tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 c CAKE flour

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar well.

  2. Beat in eggs (1 at a time thoroughly)

  3. Add lemon juice and vanilla and cake flour.

  4. Bake 1 hr 10 min @325F in a floured tube pan.
