Serves 10 people

  • 1 pound brown sugar (2 1/2 C)
  • 1/2 C corn syrup
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 t salt
  • Popped corn (about 8 C)


  1. Bring to a boil that can’t be stirred down. Pour over popped corn. Stir being careful not to get burned by the hot syrup.
