Sugared Popcorn

It’s like Kettle Korn, but there is more to it.

Serves 12 people

  • 1 C sugar
  • 3 T water
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 4 quarts popped corn


  1. Combine all ingredients except popcorn in heavy saucepan. Blend and boil until 236 degrees or soft ball stage. Pour immediately over corn, stirring gently until it sugars.
