Zesty Sorghum Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. orange zest
  • 1 Tbsp. sorghum syrup
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 2 1/4 cups pecan halves

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the zest, syrup, oil, sat, ginger and pepper flakes. Add the pecans and toss until all the pecans are evenly coated.

  3. Transfer to a greased jellyroll pan ande spread in a single layer. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool I the pan on a wire rack to room temperature. Loosen with a spatula and enjoy.
