Beef and Gerilled Cheese Sandwiches with Horseradish Mayonnaisr

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp. prepared horseradish
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 8 slices Braised Beef Brisket
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened, and divided

Directions

  1. Preheat a griddle or nonstick skillet to medium-low heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, and horseradish. Spread mixture evenly over 1 side of each slice of bread. Top half of prepared bread slices evenly with arugula, Braised Beef Brisket slices, and cheese. Top each with remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.

  3. Spread 2 Tbsp. butter evenly over tops of sandwiches, buttered side down, on preheated griddle or in skillet. Spread remaining 2 Tbsp. butter evenly over tops and sandwiches. Cook sandwiches 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
