Layered salad

  • 1 head lettuce, chopped fine
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 5 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 4 hard boiled eggs, diced
  • 1 bunch green onion tops (greens) chopped fine
  • mayonnaise (1 to 1 1/2 cup)
  • cheddar cheese, shredded


  1. in 9X13 pan layer ingrdients. 1st lettuce covering bottom, peas, onions, then sprinkle bacon and eggs over top. Spread mayo evenly to seal. Cover with grated cheese. Let set for at least 6 hours or longer. The salad will last in the fridge for up to 1 week.
