Uncle Vincent’s Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pound (2 1/4 Cups firmly packed) light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pound confectioners sugar (4 cups)

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.

  2. Stir in the brown sugar and milk.

  3. Bring to a boil and stir constantly for 2 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Stir peanut butter and vanilla into hot mixture.

  6. Mix in confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.

  7. Spread into buttered 9 × 9 × 2 or 9 × 13 pan.

  8. Chill until from.

  9. Cut into squares.
