Beef Noodle Curry

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. (1 cup) wide egg noodles
  • 1/4 lb. beef round, cut in 1-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper

Directions

  1. Brown beef on all sides in butter. Add onion and saute until onion is lightly browned, Add water to cover and heat to boiling. Cover, and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

  2. Add garlic, curry powder, salt and pepper. Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain.

  3. Serve curry over noodles.
