Coconut Pecan Pralines

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut, grated

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, milk, syrup, butter together in a large saucepan.

  2. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and add coconut, vanilla, and nuts.

  4. Stir by hand 3 to 4 minutes.

  5. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper and let harden.

  6. Store in an airtight container.
