Philly Cheesesteak Gnocchi

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium green pepper, halved and sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, halved, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 cups shredded provolone
  • 16 oz. package gnocchi

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook beef with green pepper, onion, and jalapeno over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain and remove from pan.

  2. In same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour, pepper and salt; cook and stir 2-3 minutes. Whisk in milk and Worcestershire. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted. Add beef.

  3. Cook gnocchi as directed. Drain; add to sauce.
