Mixed Lettuces with Red Wine and Shallot Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp finely chopped shallots
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 oz. mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup thinly sliced radishes
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted nuts, such as walnuts or hazelnuts

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the shallots, vinegar and tarragon. Slowly whisk in the oil until blended. Season the vinaigrette with salt and pepper. Toss with the greens and radishes; season. Top with the toasted nuts.
