Tuna and Avocado Tostada

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. diced sushi-grade tuna
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 serrano pepper, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 6 tostadas
  • Chipotle mayo
  • Shredded red cabbage, crispy fried onions and cilantro, for serving

Directions

  1. Toss tuna with soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, sesame oil and serrano; season with salt and pepper.

  2. Mash avocado with lime juice; season with salt.

  3. Spread the avocado on tostadas. Top with the tune; drizzle with chipotle mayo thinned with water. Top with red cabbage, fried onions and cilantro.
