Basil Pesto

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted
  • 4 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2/3 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper, if necessary.
