Recado Rojo

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. achiote seasoning (see recipe)
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tbsp. orange or pineapple juice
  • 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Directions

  1. Combine seasoning, garlic, juice, vinegar, oil and honey.

  2. Use to marinate pork chops up to 8 hours in advance of grilling, chicken breasts up to 4 hours in advance.
