(from castro15’s recipe box)

Categories: Grilling

  • 1 lb. pork tenderloin, sliced and skewered
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 tbsp. medium dry sherry
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 3 tbsp. packed brown sugar

  1. Slice the pork tenderloin against the grain of the meat into strips 1/4 inch thick and about 4-6 inches long. Lay the strips flat on a board, side by side. Thread onto 3 parallel skewers.

  2. Combine soy sauce, ketchup, hoisin, sherry, honey and sugar. Set aside 6 tbsp. of the glaze. Spread remaining mixture over both sides of the pork skewers. Grill over medium-hot coals until pork is opaque but still juicy, 3 minutes per side. Serve hot with the remaining glaze drizzled.
