Cheddar Dill Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup shredded extra-sharp Cheddar
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • 12 oz. bottle pale ale beer
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 9×5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cheese, sugar and dill. Add beer and melted butter, stirring just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.

  3. Bake until golden brown and a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 minutes to 1 hour. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Serve warm or at room temp.
