Marinated Goat Cheese with Walnuts

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup walnut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 11 oz. log goat cheese, sliced
  • Chopped fresh chives, for sprinkling
  • Crostini, for serving


  1. Combine the olive oil, walnuts, walnut oil, honey and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.

  2. Pour the oil mixture over the goat cheese in a serving dish. Let sit 2 hours.

  3. Sprinkle the cheese with chopped chives and serve with crostini.
