Chipped Beef on Toast

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 package Carl Budding Beef
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Dash of pepper

Directions

  1. Melt the margarine in a medium saucepan

  2. Add the flour cooking on low heat and stirring until the sauce is smooth and bubbly

  3. Gradually (so it won’t lump) stir in the milk

  4. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens

  5. Add the cut-up chipped beef. Let it heat up for a minute or two.

  6. Spoon over toast
