pancakes with ginger

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 C sifted all purpose flour
  • 5 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t ginger
  • 1/2 C molasses
  • 2 C milk
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 6 T butter melted
  • 1 C raisins

Directions

  1. mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and spices

  2. combine molasses and milk

  3. add to eggs

  4. stir in melted butter

  5. add molasses mixture to flour mixture

  6. stir only until moistened

  7. stir in raisins

  8. bake on a hot griddle
