Hash Brown Pork Skillet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen O'Brien potatoes, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups shredded cooked pork
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook potatoes, onion and green pepper in butter over medium heat until almost tender. Stir in the pork, bouillon and pepper; heat through.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour and milk until smooth; add to skillet. Cook on medium-low heat until mixture is thickened, 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.

  3. Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from heat; cover and let stand until the cheese is melted.
