Crack slaw

Cook time: 25 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef or chicken or turkey
  • 1Tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil - I used olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion - Julian style
  • coleslaw mix- 16 oz bag
  • 4 tbsp sriracha
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp white sugar OR splenda for low carb
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, fry the ground beef until cooked and no longer pink. Drain.

  2. Sauté onions and garlic until soft.

  3. Add coleslaw mix.

  4. Mix sriracha, soy sauce, ginger, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.

  5. Fry for another 5 minutes until the cabbage is wilted to your liking.
