Prosciutto-Pepper Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 4 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup julienned roasted sweet red peppers
  • 2 slices provolone, cut in half

Directions

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with garlic powder and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet, cook chops in oil over medium heat until cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

  2. Top each pork chop with prosciutto, red peppers and cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
