Herbed Garlic Knots

  • 1 lb. pizza dough, room temp
  • Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp. minced parsley
  • Grated Parmesan


  1. Cut pizza dough into 4 pieces; flatten each into a 4-inch square. Cut each square into 4 strips; tie each strip into a knot. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with olive oil and loosely cover with plastic wrap; let rise 1 hour. Uncover and bake at 400 until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Combine butter, olive oil, garlic, salt and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat; cook 1 to 2 minutes. Toss the knots with the butter and parsley; sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
