Tortellini with Sage-Walnut Butter

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 bay lead
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 cup sage leaves
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup pasta cooking water
  • 1 lb. cooked tortellini
  • Parmesan

Directions

  1. Cook vinegar, honey and bay leaf in a saucepan over medium-high heat until syrupy, 5 minutes. Melt butter in a skillet. Add sage leaves and walnuts; cook 3 minutes. Add pasta cooking water; cook 2 minutes. Toss with tortellini and some Parmesan. Drizzle with the balsamic syrup.
