Sweet Piggies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup pancake syrup
  • 1 package fully cooked breakfast sausage links
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry sheet into a 14×10.5-inch rectangle. Cut into 12 squares.

  3. Spoon 1 tsp pancake syrup into center of each square. Place one sausage diagonally over top. Lightly moisten one uncovered corner with egg wash. Fold opposite corner of pastry over sausage; roll pastry and sausage to opposite corner, pressing end to seal. Place 2 inches apart on prepared pan. Brush tops with remaining egg wash.

  4. Bake until golden brown, 15-18 minutes.
