(from castro15’s recipe box)

Categories: Burgers

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. ground sirloin
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and finely crumbled
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 burger buns
  • 2 cups prepared pimiento cheese
  • Toppings: cooked bacon slices, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles

Directions

  1. Spray grill rack with cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, gently combine beef, bacon, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Divide mixture into 8 portions and shape each portion into a 3/4-inch-thick patty. Make a slight indentation in center of each patty to keep flat while cooking.

  3. Add patties and buns, cut side down, to grill rack. Cook buns until grill marks form, about 2 minutes. Cook patties until cooked to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side, adding pimiento cheese during last 1 minute of cooking. Serve patties on buns with desired toppings.
