Tomatillo Chicken Taco Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. tomatillos (husked and rinsed)
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

Directions

  1. Puree tomatillos with jalapeno, garlic, water, cilantro, onion and salt. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sauce and fry until thickened, 4-5 minutes. Stir in chicken. Serve in taco shells with toppings.
