Thanksgiving Leftover Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hard apple cider
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 6 oz. Gruyere, shredded
  • 6 oz. sharp white cheddar, shredded
  • 6 oz. French melting cheese (such as Cantal or Comte), shredded
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 cups assorted Thanksgiving leftovers (such as roasted veggies, chopped dinner rolls, and/or cubed cooked turkey), for dipping

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, bring cider and 1/2 tsp salt to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; stir in lemon juice. In a bowl, toss cheeses with cornstarch. Add cheeses to cider, 1/2 cup at a time, whisking after each additional until cheeses melt and fondue is smooth. Transfer to fondue pot; keep warm. Serve with leftovers for dipping.
