Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.

  2. Add next four ingredients

  3. Line piepan with pastry and sprinkle with pecans

  4. Pour the filling over the pecans

  5. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes

  6. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and make 35 more minutes
