Butter Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1/2 C melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • TOPPING
  • 3 1/2 C confectioner sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 ounces soft cream cheese
  • 1 C chopped pecans (not too finely)
  • 1/2 C melted butter

Directions

  1. Bake 300 degrees 1 hour (actually took 1 1/2 or so). Center is a bit gooey, edges are nicely done

  2. Mix first 3 ingredients and press into 9 X 13 pan

  3. Mix sugar, butter, eggs and cream cheese together-

  4. Check when pecans go in?

  5. Pour onto of bottom layer
