Garlic-Herb Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. package deli pizza dough, room temp
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh oregano
  • 8 oz. package shredded Italian cheese blend

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Lightly oil a large rimmed baking sheet.

  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to an 18×15-inch rectangle. Carefully transfer dough to prepared pan, pressing into edges of pan. Loosely cover, and let stand at room temp until slightly puffed, about 30 minutes.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, garlic, salt, and red pepper; brush onto dough. Sprinkle with basil, green onion, parsley and oregano.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese blend and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes more. Let cool for 5 minutes; serve warm.
