homemade bisquick

makes 6 cups

Ingredients

  • 5 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup baking powder
  • 2 table sugar optional
  • 1 tea salt
  • 1 cup butter

Directions

  1. mix and sift the dry ingredients together

  2. use a whisk or spoon

  3. cut in butter into dry ingredients

  4. mix well and store

  5. use the same amount as you would bisquick

  6. will keep for up to 4 months if stored in a tight container in a dry space
