lemonade syrup

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 cups lemon juice-16 lemons
  • 2 table grated lemon peel

Directions

  1. in a 1 1/2 quart heat proof container and dissolve sugar in boiling water

  2. cool

  3. add lemon juice and peel

  4. mix well

  5. cover and store in the frig for up to 1 week

  6. makes 5 1/2 cups syrup

  7. to make lemonade 1 serving

  8. mix 1/4 to 1/3 cup syrup and 3/4 cup cold water in a glass stir well
