Vanilla Frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter, softened
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 tbsp. milk

Directions

  1. Beat butter and salt with a mixer on medium-high speed until fluffy, 2 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar on low speed until combined.

  2. Add vanilla and beat on medium-high speed until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in milk until combined, 1 to 2 more minutes.

  3. Spread the frosting on the cake. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
