Categories: Pork

Ingredients

  • Honey Barbecue Sauce:
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Meat:
  • 2 1/4 lbs. pork riblets
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tsp water

Directions

  1. ason the riblets with the salt, garlic and pepper as you like, then sear them on a grill until the meat starts to separate from the bone. While doing this, preheat the oven to 275.

  2. Mix the water and liquid smoke into a deep pan and place the ribs on an elevated rack inside—make sure that the liquid does not touch the ribs.

  3. ver the pan with two layers of foil and bake for 2 to 5 hours. Make sure that the internal temp of the meat reaches 155.

  4. While waiting for the riblets to cook, prepare the sauce by mixing the sauce ingredients and let simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.

  5. When the sauce is done cooking, transfer to a bowl, and set aside.

  6. When the ribs are done cooking, sear them on a grill until the marrow starts sizzling.

  7. Place the ribs on a plate and cover generously with the sauce.

  8. Serve and enjoy.
