Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, patted dry
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained and rinsed
  • Sliced cherry tomatoes, for garnish

Directions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with lemon pepper, salt, dill and garlic powder. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken, turning frequently, until golden on both sides, about 5 minutes. Continue cooking, turning chicken once, 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer chicken to a serving platter and cover with foil.

  2. Increase heat to high. Add whipping cream to skillet; simmer, whisking constantly, until reduced to sauce consistency, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in capers and pour over chicken. Garnish with cherry tomatoes.
