Upside-Down Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 15 oz. can Italian-style tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 10 oz. package refrigerated biscuits

Directions

  1. eheat oven to 400. In a large skillet cook ground beef over medium heat until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce; heat through. Transfer beef mixture to a 2-quart rectangular baking dish or 10-inch deep-dish pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Flatten each biscuit with your hands; arrange the biscuits on top of cheese.

  2. Bake, uncovered, about 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
