Smoked Cheddar and Bacon Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 thick slices sourdough sandwich bread
  • 8 slices smoked Cheddar
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, halved crosswise
  • 4 tbsp salted butter, divided

Directions

  1. On half of bread slices, layer 1 slice cheese, 1 slice bacon, 1 slice cheese, and remaining bread slices.

  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add 2 sandwiches; cook until golden brown and cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining 2 tbsp butter and remaining sandwiches. Serve immediately.
