Taco Bell Fire Border Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp minced canned jalapeno slices
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Dash garlic powder

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the tomato paste and water and whisk until smooth.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined.

  3. Heat over medium-high heat until it begins to boil. Continue to cook for about 3 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat.

  4. When sauce has cooled, pour it into a sealed container and refrigerate.
