Game Day Snack Mix

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsalted cashews
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray.

  2. Place Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, cranberries, raisins, cashews and peanuts in slow cooker.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Mix the butter with the maple syrup, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the contents of the slow cooker and stir gently with a rubber spatula until all contents are well-coated.

  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for about 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.

  5. Pour snack mix onto parchment paper and spread it out. Let it cool for about 3 hours.
