Garlic Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. (about 3 thick slices) country-style white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced or pushed through a garlic press
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  1. Pulse the bread in food processor until it is in coarse crumbs.

  2. Toss the crumbs with the garlic, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Add the olive oil and work vigorously with a rubber spatula to force the oil into the crumbs.
