Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened, divided
  • 2 pieces English muffin, split
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices American, cheddar, jack cheese or Swiss
  • 2 slices American smoked bacon
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. For each half of the muffin, spread a tsp of butter and put in a heated pan and cook over medium heat until pieces are well-browned. After, put in a sheet pan. On the same pan, melt another tsp of butter and make the heat higher. Cook the American smoked bacon until crispy. Put on top of a muffin. Next is the egg, use a ring molder to copy the perfectly round shape of the egg, the same way you get in the restaurant. Spray the pan with a non-stick cooking spray and put the ring molds on the pan, add the egg on each ring and season with salt and pepper. Add water about 1/3 cup into the pan and cover and let the egg cook. Once done, put on top of bacon and top with your choice of the cheese slice. Put the other halves of the muffin, then wrap each muffin with foil. Toast in the pan. Serve warm.
