Eggy Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1 9" pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 c swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c diced ham
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c onions or green peppers
  • 1 whole nutmeg for grating, or ground nutmeg to taste
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 3/4 c heavy cream
  • 2 tbs unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbs flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375,

  2. Line deep dish pie plate with pie crust

  3. Sprinkle cheese over pastry, followed by ham and sauted vegetgables.Whisk the eggs, milk, cream, flour and melted butter. Pour over meat cheese and vegetables. Dust top with nutmeg. Bake for approx 10 minutes.
