Mustard-Chive Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp distilled white vinegar or water
  • 1/4 cup Dijon
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temp
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh chives
  • Salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. In a small bowl dissolve the dry mustard and sugar in the vinegar or water. Stir in the Dijon. Transfer to a food processor and add the butter and chives. Process to blend thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
